To enrich the knowledge by referring various books the college possess, a spacious library as per the guidelines of CCIM & RGUHS along with digital library facility. The college library has more than 11,000 books, 6 daily newspapers and 35 periodicals including many national and international journals to keep the students updated. Library is equipped with sitting arrangement for more than 100 students to provide peaceful ambience for studying. Facilities include department wise access to the books, Newspaper clipping service, Book reservation system, Bibliographic index and maintained well by trained staff .

The Physician, after analyzing the ethnology symptoms etc. Should treat with the as line of treatment and with the right choice of preparation. The real beauty of any establishment is in its self sufficiency with a view of supporting. Pharmacy unit was established on the 1-11-1998.

A Simple unit of manufacture of Taila, the pharmacy has in a period of 12 years, grown itself. to supply all required preparation like. Ghrita, Taila, asavas, arishta Tablets , Capsule etc. Now full pledged commercial unit which is licensed by drug licensing authority. It is certified under GM Pact of Ayush.

Along with the preparation, Pharmacy pharmacy is utilized to give a training for the students & internets, about selection of materials, preparation of medicine & quality assurance. 2nd phase students are compulsorily  posted to the pharmacy to get knowledge of medicinal preparation the pharmacy to get knowledge of medicinal preparation formulation a part of academic practical.

To attain the self sufficiency in production of medicine to cater to the needs of our IPD & OPD full fledged pharmacy established with GMP in 1998. Pharmacy has been licensed by authorities to prepare medicines. Many asavas, arishtas, kashayas, lehyas, choornas capsules,etc. are prepared. The unit has gone full fledged commercial unit now. Students are exposed to the procedure of medicine making.

The college is set in a huge campus that also include hospital, research laboratory, hostel facilities, canteen, auditorium, herbal garden and play ground. The classrooms are well ventilated, spacious and upgraded with advanced methods of teaching such as Audio- visual teaching aids, library with huge collection of books, journals, Digital library with internet facility, Herbal garden with collection of many plant species including endangered ones, each faculty enriched with a separate museum and departmental library, well equipped dissection theatre and maintained with well trained staff.

Dhanwantari Ayurveda College Hospital and Research Center , Siddhapur established in the year 1998 with an intention of imparting the knowledge of the Science of Ayurveda and to cater the health care needs of the people. Being the only medical college in the entire district of Uttara Kannada the institution provides a systematic approach towards the science inculcating the ancient principles of Ayurveda along with the modern medical sciences. The college set in slush green habitat of Sahyadris, Westernghats which is home for traditional ayurvedic practices provides a great platform to the scholars to carry on the research in this stream of medicine.
