Procedures of Admission

  1. Application in the prescribed format accompanied by true copies of the marks card and other certificates should be submitted to the office, Dhanvatari Ayurveda College, Hospital and Research Centre, Siddapur – 581355.
  2. Any fees paid will not be refunded. The filling of application with the Registration fee is no guarantee of admission.
  3. Merit will be assessed by totaling the marks obtained by the candidates in the optionals of second year of the Pre-University Examination, NEET Rank and also performance in the interview.
  4. The candidates will be called for an interview before the selection committee. Candidates have to attend the interview along with their guardians/parents at their own cost.
  5. The selected candidates will be informed by post/ call of their selections and such candidates shall pay all the fees within the stipulated date, failing which the seats allotted to the candidates will be put on waiting list. The fees collected will not be refunded.
  6. Migration Certificate and Transfer Certificate etc., should be obtained and produced by the applicant on or before the date stipulated for the same. The college does not hold itself responsible for any lapse, loss or delay in this matter.
  7. Every student shall be liable to pay the fees for the entire course even if their name is on the rolls of the college for only a part of the term.
  8. Fees once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to other accounts. If the candidates discontinues the course in the middle he/she is liable to pay the prescribed fee for the entire course.
  9. Every Candidates admitted is bound by the prevailing rules and regulations of the college and those that would be framed from time to time.
  10. Selection intimation letter, is to be surrendered to the college office at the time of paying the fees.
  11. Admission secured on the basis of false information shall stand cancelled and the fees forfeited.
  12. Admission granted is provisional subject to:
    (A) Payment of all fees payable to institution.
    (B) Production of Medical Fitness Certificate
    (C) Approval of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
  13. Fees towards Eligibility, Registration and approval of Admission payable to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore will be extra.
  14. Students must have passed the two years P U. C. Examination of the P U. Education Board, or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to with English as one of the languages and secured not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) knowledge of Sanskrit is beneficial.
  15. Candidates who have passed B. Sc. Part I Degree Examination or any other equivalent Examination conducted by statutory Universities or Boards with Science subject, namely, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology with not less than 50% of marks in the aggregate of these subjects are eligible for admission to I BAMS Degree provided the candidate have passed the P U. C. Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  16. Candidates who have passed B. Sc. Degree Examination with any three Science Subjects are eligible for admission to the course.
  17. All admission made by the college to first year of the B. A. M. S. Course are subject to the approval of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Out of state students should obtain eligibility certificates from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore within the last date fixed by the University for Admission. The college will assist in obtaining certificates.
  18. Candidates seeking admission should have attained the age of 17 years on the date of admission. Documents required for Admission originals and set of attested copies of:
    a) S. S. L. C. Marks Card.
    b) P U. C. ( 10+2) Marks card.
    c) Transfer Certificate
    d) Migration Certificate (out of state applicants)
    e) Eligibility Certificate (out of State and student taking admission on B. Sc., Basis)
    f) Medical Fitness Certificate (obtained from Govt. Hospital)
    g) Color Photograph: Passport Size -08. With Border Stamp Size -08
    h) Copy of Neet Marks Card
  • Note All original certificates submitted for admission will be retained by the college until successful completion of the course and returned after settlement of all dues.
