Rachana Shareera

Rachana Shareera (anatomy) is a core first-year BAMS subject dealing with the structure of the human body. Knowledge of applied anatomy is essential for understanding the principles of treatment and for preliminary diagnosis.

The department is fully staffed and has a dissection hall and museum. It also runs a body donation unit, through which members of the public can register to donate their body for dissection.
