Maulika Siddhanta

The Maulika Siddhanta department is the backbone of all other departments. It focuses on the fundamental principles and classical doctrines of Ayurveda, through the study of texts such as the Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita and Ashtanga Hridaya.

It preserves and interprets the basic principles (Siddhantas) that guide diagnosis, treatment and holistic well-being, and emphasises Sanskrit, Ayurvedic epistemology and research methodology, giving students a strong conceptual base for clinical practice.
