Kaumarabhritya

Kaumarabhritya (Ayurvedic paediatrics) is concerned with the care of the newborn and the prevention and treatment of diseases in children. The department has its own museum and dedicated faculty.

It runs 'Swarna Prashana', a monthly programme in which scores of children receive Swarna Bindu to support physical and mental development and immunity, and carries out research on childhood diseases.

The Yogya Skill Lab is equipped with mannequins and apparatus for simulating procedures such as neonatal resuscitation and cardiovascular auscultation.
