Department of Shalakya Tantra
Shalakya Tantra deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the eyes, ears, nose, throat and head, using natural remedies and therapies.
The OPD offers vision tests (near, distance and colour), certificates for driving licences, slit-lamp examination, tonometry, ophthalmoscopy, Schirmer's test, fluorescein staining, otoscopy, anterior rhinoscopy, tuning-fork tests, and ear wax removal and syringing.
