Well-maintained physiology and pathology laboratories are equipped as per NCISM guidelines, with ample demonstration space and enough equipment for every student to carry out experiments.
The Yogya Skill Lab has mannequins and apparatus for simulating procedures such as neonatal resuscitation and cardiovascular auscultation.
Pharmacy
Teaching pharmacy, since 1998
The pharmacy unit was established on 1 November 1998 to make the hospital self-sufficient in medicines for the IPD and OPD. Beginning as a simple unit making taila, it has grown to supply the preparations needed by the hospital.
It prepares ghrita, taila, asava, arishta, kashaya, lehya, churna, tablets and capsules. It is above all a teaching pharmacy: second-phase BAMS students and interns are posted here to learn the selection of raw materials, preparation of medicines and quality assurance.

Herbal garden
A living pharmacopoeia
The herbal garden has a large collection of plant species, including endangered ones. Dravyaguna students identify drugs on garden and field visits and prepare herbarium specimens to preserve them.

Hostels & canteen
A home away from home
Separate boys' and girls' hostels, aesthetically designed, give students a home away from home. Hygienic, timely food and a palatable menu are the highlights. Admission to the hostel is optional and subject to availability.
A canteen on campus serves students, staff and visitors.

Sports, gym & culture
Healthy body, healthy mind
A large outdoor ground hosts athletics, cricket and volleyball, with indoor table tennis, carrom and chess. Inter-class and inter-college competitions are held every year, and our students have won at inter-college and inter-university events.
The gym has modern equipment such as treadmills, a seated leg curl, adjustable benches and dumbbells, for up to 30 members.
Cultural talent is encouraged through inter-class competitions and an annual cultural and literary competition; winners are honoured at the annual day, 'Peeyusha'. The college won the championship shield for two consecutive years at the state-level competitions of the Ayurveda Academy, Bengaluru.
