Dhanwantari Ayurveda College Hospital and Research Center , Siddhapur established in the year 1998 with an intention of imparting the knowledge of the Science of Ayurveda and to cater the health care needs of the people. Being the only medical college in the entire district of Uttara Kannada the institution provides a systematic approach towards the science inculcating the ancient principles of Ayurveda along with the modern medical sciences. The college set in slush green habitat of Sahyadris, Westernghats which is home for traditional ayurvedic practices provides a great platform to the scholars to carry on the research in this stream of medicine.

11th AYURVEDA DAY was celebrated by Dhanvantari Ayurveda College in co-ordination with NSS ans Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad on 23/09/2026. On this occasion, graced the stage by ingurating the program and spoke about the Importance of Ayurveda in maintaning health. Staff and Students attended the procession which was organised to impart the knowledge about Ayurveda in maintaining health and to fight diseases to the Public.
NATIONAL DOCTOR’S DAY was celebrated in Dhanvantari Ayurveda College, Siddapur. DR.LOKESH, General Surgeon, Taluq Government Hospital, Siddapur; advised the upcoming Doctors regarding their duties towards the patients and society.
World No Tobacco Day was organised by Dept. of Agadatantra in association with NSS Unit, DACH and TCC Wing, DACH, Siddapur. The program was conducted by Final year BAMS students. Principal gave a call to all the students to follow the Oath that was taken to prevent consumption of Tobacco in youth.
